BIRTH TO 12 MONTHS
We acknowledge that the best caretaker for a newborn and an infant are parents. However, we are here for you if cannot put your career on hold. While your precious one is with us, we will do our best to replicate your home environment at our center. We encourage parents to bring your infant’s favorite play time and sleep time music. Furthermore, to extend bonding time during a work we offer “the open door policy” so that you may spend time with your child and participate in his/her activities. Our infant program is individualized to care for your very unique baby. The most important part of this program is the staff members who have been carefully chosen for their loving and comforting skills. A daily log is kept on each child showing when they ate, slept, and were diapered. Also, those very important “firsts” are recorded. At the infant center we strive to meet each child’s individual needs and wants, within a safe and nurturing environment. To help the children begin to learn and develop social, language and motor skills, which are important for later use in a preschool setting. The goal of Dreamland Infant Center is to encourage each child with activities in order to foster their emergent independence and develop sense of accomplishment by loving, caring teachers who are trained to understand the unique needs of young children and their families.
Some of the infant program features include nurturing personal care, group interaction, motor and cognitive development through routine activities. We use multilingual approach, to make sure the child will have an affinity for languages in the future. The parents are constantly informed on infant’s day through daily activity reports.
